Building the Governance Layer for AI
AI agents are transforming regulated industries. But without governance, every automated decision is a compliance risk. Novus Forge exists to close that gap.
The Governance Gap
Regulated industries, such as insurance, healthcare, financial services, and legal, are adopting AI agents at scale. These agents make decisions that affect real people: claims adjudication, policy underwriting, compliance checks, risk assessment.
But the governance infrastructure hasn't kept pace. Most organizations have no audit trail for AI decisions, no collision detection when multiple agents act on shared data, and no consistent way to enforce compliance policies across their AI workflows.
Novus Forge was built to solve this problem. Not with another AI model, but with the orchestration and governance layer that makes AI agents trustworthy, traceable, and compliant by default.
Governance by Default
We believe governance shouldn't be an afterthought bolted onto existing systems. It should be the foundation. When you route AI workflows through Axis, governance happens automatically with PII compliance, audit trails, collision detection, and telemetry built into the pipeline itself.
Our platform is domain-agnostic by design. Koda's ontology engine can model any regulatory domain, from insurance ACORD codes to healthcare clinical workflows. Axis orchestrates agents regardless of their provider. And Syllabus manages the marketplace of available agents, matching capabilities to tasks while enforcing governance policies.
Our Principles
Transparency
Every AI decision should be traceable, explainable, and auditable. No black boxes.
Governance by Default
Compliance is built into the pipeline, not bolted on after the fact.
Domain-Agnostic
One platform, any regulated industry. Model any domain with structured ontologies.
Human in the Loop
AI augments human judgment. Critical decisions always have a human checkpoint.
Meet the Founder
Jeremiah Connelly
Founder & CEO
Jeremiah brings 26+ years of business rules engineering across insurance, financial services, manufacturing, and government. As a FICO Blaze Advisor architect, he has led rule engine implementations for enterprises nationwide, training both onshore and offshore teams.
Now focused on AI product strategy, he founded Novus Forge after seeing the same governance gap play out across every regulated industry adopting AI agents: organizations building powerful automation with no audit trail, no collision detection, and no consistent compliance enforcement. His vision is to make AI agent governance as fundamental as the agents themselves, integrating AI and business rule technologies.
